By our definition, enclosures are spaces created by adding wall assemblies to any existing patio or deck structure and an existing roof structure. Some may choose to call the newly enclosed space a sunroom and for our part, we will not disagree.

As it turns out, enclosures become very practical when the space is created from front porches. As a result, vestibules are created providing an additional buffer from wind and poor weather. When created from rear porches, the enclosures add to the home's living space making outdoor living much more enjoyable.

Enclosing a grade entrance in a similar manner makes for a much more convenient and safe point of entry to a home. The buildup of leaves is no longer a problem and the stairs will remain clear from ice and snow.
